It's always good to get pictures and feedback from our customers, especially when they come up with great ideas. Washington County Machine Guns, LLC located in West Alexander PA recently sent us one we'd like to share.
Washington County Machine Gun Rentals installed two of the Gopher Xtreme systems on their 100 Yard Precision Rifle Range (pictured above). Because of their range terrain, when cross bars are ballistically damaged, it's much more difficult to access them to make repairs. To reduce these incidents, they modified the target shuttle by adding two vertical angle frames which lowers the top of the target to 12" below the crossbar. Target sizes are also limited to one foot square.
They also incorporated additional requirements for shooters to sight their rifles in using incremental distances; starting at 10yd, then 25yds, 50 yds; and finally 100 yards. I was told that the additional material had no noticeable impact on their system operation.
